However, I don’t ship Ed with myself (lol I would NOT get along with Ed at ALL) I don’t think Winry is a bitchslutmarysueweakuseless!1! and I have no idea why some people think everyone who doesn’t like this pairing is one of the overzealous bashers who don’t have any reasons to dislike her other than stock insults that don’t make sense. I like Winry. I didn’t mind when they ended up together and I didn’t have anyone else I would have liked to see Ed with (however I would have liked Al and Paninya getting together), but I just don’t ship it that romantically. See, I wish more people were like this. And while I am a huge-ass EdxWin shipper, I respect this. A LOT. I mean, in general, I don’t mind that people don’t ship/like this pairing simply just because, or if they prefer Ed and with someone else. Or if really they prefer Ed as asexual or whatever (I know some people who think that of Ed). That’s totally cool. But when people can’t respect other people’s preferences with characters and pairings, and go bashing it and claim that THEIR favorite pairing is the best pairing there is, or that this character sucks for some stupid ass reason like “oh he/she’s a total whore/slut/mary sue/useless twit,” that’s where I lose my shit. Like, no, just no. Do I go off saying how so and so aren’t meant to be together and how it should be so and so instead that you should ship? Do I go rambling off how this character’s a total wreck with very little actual reasonable claim and because of that they should not be with that person? No. RESPECT, yo. LIVE IT. LEARN IT. LOVE IT.
